Sonics & Materials, Inc. announces a new, high-volume ultrasonic probe designed for dispersing and homogenizing large volumes of fluid with continuous flow and high throughput.
This new probe can be used in conjunction with our Vibra-Cell™ 750 & 1500 watt ultrasonic systems to process large volumes of liquid (depending upon viscosity and desired degree of processing) and is particularly well-suited for applications such as Graphene dispersion, nanoparticle dispersion, fluid mixing, biodiesel processing and transesterification.
The improvement of this probe comes from a unique and proprietary arrangement of energy points, which promote and enhance the cavitation effect, thus leading to better yields of material processing.
As always, Sonics’ titanium alloy probes (Ti6Al4V) are completely autoclaveable and highly resistant to most chemistries, making them the perfect solution for otherwise difficult material handling and processing situations.
